Community Center

The Community Center, located on Stewpot's main Capitol Street campus, houses the Teen Program and the Computer Lab. Mississippi Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) generously donated this building to Stewpot in 1999.

CUMC

The Central Urban Ministry Center is located at 1100 West Capitol Street in the building formerly occupied by the Central Presbyterian Church. Stewpot's Community Kitchen, Food Pantry, Virginia's Playhouse, Clothing Closet, Community Health Clinic, Legal Clinic, Chapel and Counseling ministries, as well as the Stewpot offices, are housed here.

Matt's House

Matt's House, at 343 Adelle Street near Millsaps College, is an emergency shelter for up to 30 women and children.

Old Stewpot

The original Stewpot is located across the street from the Central Urban Ministry Center on West Capitol Street. Meals were served in this converted service station from Stewpot's opening in 1981 until 1992 when the Presbytery of Mississippi offered the use of the Central Presbyterian Church building.

Sim's House

Sims House, also on Stewpot's main campus, is a transitional shelter for women and their children. Women can stay at Sims House for three months and during that time they must get a job, participate in counseling and secure permanent housing. This facility houses up to 24 women and children.

The Hut

Directly behind the Central Urban Ministry Center is The Hut, which is home to Stewpot's Children's Program.

Brumfield House

The Billy Brumfield House is situated in a converted fire station at 1244 S. Gallatin Street, and provides shelter for up to 50 men each night of the year. The Brumfield operates three programs: a homeless program, a drug-work transitional program and a special needs program.
