Eligibility:

Because the demand is so great, we serve only households in Hinds County. We ask for an ID and proof of residence (a utility bill or copy of a lease) upon arrival, although no one is turned away. “Travel bags’ are given to people without the ability to cook or refrigerate items. Appointments are now scheduled so that we can be prepared for each day’s needs, although we will assist with emergencies.

The pantry is stocked through generous donations from individuals, congregations, civic groups and businesses, as well as through our partnerships with the Mississippi Food Network. Extra Table, Gleaners, and Hub for the Hungry. A list of of needed items can be found here.

Volunteers welcome and assist shoppers, sort and stock donations, and organize food drives to fill the shelves.

Hours of Operation:

Monday: 9:00 am-11:00 am

Tuesday: 9:00 am- 11:00 am and 1:00 pm-3:00 pm

Wednesday: 9:00 am-11:00 am

Thursday: 9:00 am-11:00 am and 4:00 pm-7:00pm from June 8th-August 31st.

Friday-Sunday: Closed
