The Community Kitchen serves anywhere from 100 to 150 people a hot lunch every day of the year. Volunteers serve the meals prepared by our wonderful kitchen staff during the week, and volunteers purchase, prepare, and serve meals on the weekends. Monday-Friday, lunch is served at 12:00pm. Lunch is served at 1:00pm on Saturdays and Sundays. If you have questions regarding Stewpot’s Community Kitchen, please call our main office at 601-353-2759, which is open Monday through Friday.
Over 600 individuals a month benefit from the four-day supply of food that is provided for individuals and families out of the Food Pantry, which began in 1982. Individuals can receive items from the Food Pantry after they complete a screening process. Stewpot is able to provide this food primarily due to community donations.
