Kids Program
Read books to children
Teach dance, art, or theater to a group of children
Help a child with their homework once a week (this requires about an hour in the afternoon after school)
Teen Program
Invite a teen to shadow you at your job
Help a teen with their homework (this requires about an hour in the afternoon after school)
Teach a teen to play a sport such as tennis or golf
Work with the older teenagers to fill out applications and write resumes

Provide light breakfast or an evening meal for up to 45 men

Help lead music
Offer spoken poetry or readings

Help sort, size, and hang up clothes
Organize and arrange donations
Assist staff with clients during operating hours (Tues-Thurs 9am-12pm)

Volunteers are needed to prepare and serve lunch daily. We serve 100+ people 7 days a week. Lunch is served at noon Monday-Saturday and at 1:00 pm on Sundays.

Bag groceries for families
Organize food storage
Pick up donations
Organize food drive in your neighborhood, business, church, or school

Lead or assist with an art project
Bring a snack + beverage for 20 people
Donate art supplies

Landscape and maintain yards and play areas
Provide dinner for up to 20-25 women and kids
Assist with painting and simple repair jobs
Lead a class on subjects such as stress management, relaxation exercises, Alcoholics Anonymous, and self esteem

Drivers are needed to drive routes once a week. Each route takes approximately 45 minutes.

Teach reading skills to men and women who visit the Center
Provide one-on-one instruction for simple computer skills, such as how to navigate the Internet and how to use basic programs
Assist men and women with completing online job applications and resume writing
Provide evening meals for when the Center operates as an emergency shelter during the wintertime

Help with laundry
