MISSION
Stewpot Community Services provides compassionate assistance, at no charge, to people in need of physical and spiritual nourishment. Through our ministries, we serve people who are hungry, poor, and homeless, offering food, shelter, clothing, mentoring, care, and concern. At Stewpot, we believe that we all are fed through our fellowship with one another and that we are all stronger when offering our gifts on behalf of others.

The BankPlus Red Beans & BBQ Fest is a family-friendly festival where neighbors come to enjoy food prepared by local businesses, restaurants, and congregations in their community who are competing for the coveted title of Best Beans and Best BBQ in town.

Taste of Mississippi is a tasting event that offers culinary delights from fabulous area restaurants and beverages from local distributors, with a competition among participating restaurants for Best Appetizer, Best Entrée, Best Dessert, Best Presentation, and People's Choice.

Business & Professional Leaders Luncheon
Stewpot’s Business & Professional Leaders Luncheon allows our donors to learn about the current work of Stewpot to address critical needs in our community. Each year, a local community figure speaks at the luncheon, and friends of Stewpot gather together in fellowship.
